Just wow! We have dined here twice. The first time my husband had the chicken curry and butter naan and I had lamb seekh kebab with garlic naan. Both entrees were wonderful with the right amount of spice. The second time we both chose the chicken curry. It's amazing. I was never fond of curry but after tasting my husband's during our first visit I loved it. The sweetness from the cardamom really makes this dish special. We had a rice pudding dessert that was lightly sweet and perfect dessert after curry. The building is older but inside it's decorated so pretty and neat and clean. The staff obviously care about the outside because the parking area was swept and the walkway clean. The background music is nice but low enough to have a conversation. The restrooms are clean. The staff are very kind and attentive. Our server remembered us from our first visit and was very friendly. We will definitely come back.

We recently dined at Taste of Maharaja, and it was one of the best Indian dining experiences we've ever had. The warm, hospitable service and beautiful decor created a serene and authentic atmosphere. The food was incredible. The butter chicken was rich and flavorful, the paneer pakoras were so delicious, and the masala chai tea was the ideal way to end the meal. Every dish was expertly prepared and bursting with flavors on top of flavors. The staff was kind and attentive, making us feel truly welcomed. If you're Daytona Beach, Taste of Maharaja is a must-visit. We'll definitely be back next time we're in town!

Chicken Tikka Masala and Nann were absolutely delightful! As others have said, the wait is certainly substantial but it is more than worth it when your food arrives. We will certainly be returning on our next visit to Daytona.

Food was amazing. Best Indian in Volusia County! I would go there again and again. And gulag moon is extremely tasty.

Came here while in Daytona. Ordered the goat biryani, Kerala fish curry and the butter chicken. Also had the samosas and butter naan. We had asked that the spice level for the fish curry to be spicy. Service was great. The biryani was pretty good. Portions were generous. Lots more meat which was appreciated. The butter chicken was flavorful. I can see why it's a favorite here. The fish curry was a little disappointing. We could taste the base curry was good but the chef just added extra spice without really cooking it through. So we could taste the harshness of the spices which detracted from the dish. Fish portions were generous. Samosas was disappointing. Too much dough in my opinion and the mint sauce was very watered down. Was pleasant in the restaurant with the Bollywood show on the scene. Very Indian in ambience.

Excellent, friendly service. Delicious food, great bar/drinks selection. Well worth the short drive from NSB.

Omg! Delicious! We rarely go back to the same restaurant twice - have gone 3 times and the staff and food never disappoint! We highly recommend giving this hidden gem a try!

Food is definitely flavorful, menu is extensive, and compared to many other Indian places we have been to this one seems to prepare food by order and not by batches. However, I am not sure if that is the case or not. From ordering to food on your table is about 40 minutes. Service is little slow but very professional, and helpful. Overall, good place with high food quality and good service. Atmosphere is pretty relaxing not many people at once, decently quiet. We wil be coming back even tho it is a little pricey. P.S. My ratings are based on whether I believe I could make a better or healthier version at home. If food/drinks/service impress me, I'll be happy to come back. If not the stars reflect that.

Nice place with subdued lighting. Great after a day in the sun. Fabulous? Oh, that would be both the servers and the food. The former were charming and attentive. The latter, delicious. Oh, and the portions of the food (and wine) were larger than expected.

Been ordering takeout for over a year now and we're happy to report that the quality is just as good as it ever was! This is our go-to spot for ordering out when we don't want to cook. Their garlic naan is to die for!
